Most clients report brief, manageable discomfort during waxing, especially on first visits. We use coconut or lime-infused wax and gentle techniques to minimize pain; soothing post-care is applied to reduce redness and sensitivity.

Trim if hair exceeds 1/4 inch; otherwise arrive with natural length. Avoid deodorant, heavy lotions, or recent tanning. Shower beforehand and wear loose clothing to reduce irritation and make your appointment smoother.

Avoid hot showers, saunas, heavy exercise and deodorant for 24 hours. Apply a gentle, fragrance-free moisturizer or soothing oil provided. Exfoliate after 48–72 hours to prevent ingrown hairs and encourage even regrowth.

Yes. We offer patch tests and can use the gentler coconut-infused wax for sensitive skin. Inform your technician about allergies, medications, or prior reactions so we can adjust products and technique accordingly.

Ideal hair length is about 1/4 inch (the size of a grain of rice) so the wax can grip. If hair is too short waxing may be less effective; if too long, we’ll trim before service.

Regular waxing reduces ingrown hairs over time by removing hair from the root. We recommend gentle exfoliation, moisturizing, and avoiding tight clothing immediately after waxing to lower ingrown hair risk and soothe the area.
